A note on the framework's positions
This framework is not legal advice. Organizations adopting policies generated from it should obtain qualified legal review before adoption, particularly for binding obligations under the EU AI Act, GDPR, CSDDD, national HRDD instruments, and sector-specific regulation.
It is also worth being clear that the framework takes a particular view of AI governance — that AI-related impacts on people belong inside Human Rights Due Diligence methodology, not in a parallel AI ethics track. Organizations approach AI and human-AI interactions in different ways, and that view is a position, not the only defensible one. Conversations about how to adapt the framework to different organizational philosophies are genuinely welcome.
